RC Lens and adidas have officially unveiled the club’s new 2026-27 third kit, with the striking white, red and yellow design paying tribute to one of the French club’s memorable shirts from the 1990s.
Named “RC Alliance”, the new RC Lens third shirt combines a predominantly white base with a bold diagonal Sang et Or stripe running across the front. The design takes direct inspiration from the club’s 1994-95 away shirt, bringing a distinctive retro aesthetic into the 2026-27 season.
Retro RC Lens Design Returns for 2026-27
The white jersey features the famous RC Lens red and yellow colours across the diagonal sash, while further Sang et Or detailing appears around the crew-neck collar, sleeve cuffs and adidas shoulder stripes.
A black adidas Performance logo sits opposite the RC Lens crest, with the Auchan sponsor displayed prominently across the centre of the shirt. The overall design is relatively clean, allowing the dramatic diagonal graphic to become the focal point.
The 1990s inspiration is particularly appropriate as the decade marked the beginning of RC Lens’ original relationship with adidas and included some hugely successful moments in the club’s history.
RC Lens Celebrate Their adidas Partnership
RC Lens have taken an unusual approach to the launch campaign, presenting the shirt around the theme of marriage and togetherness.
Supporters Louise and Jonathan, whose relationship began at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis, were chosen to model the new shirt as part of their wedding celebrations. Several RC Lens players also joined the ceremony, with the campaign designed to represent loyalty, passion and the connection between the club, adidas and its supporters.
The wedding theme works particularly well with the predominantly white jersey, while the red and yellow details ensure there is no mistaking its RC Lens identity.
When Will RC Lens Wear the New Third Kit?
The RC Lens 2026-27 adidas third kit goes on sale from 7 August 2026, with the team set to wear the new strip for the first time against Sunderland AFC at the Stade Bollaert-Delelis on 8 August.
It completes an impressive first collection following adidas’ return as RC Lens technical supplier, with the third shirt arguably providing the strongest retro influence of the three.
