Britain’s Martin Wrigley and Bettine Harris are 2026 470 World Champions.
Silver went to the German team of Theresa Löffler and Christopher Hoerr, tied on 57 pts with Spain’s Jordi Xammar and Marta Cardona, who took Bronze.
Wrigley and Harris won the final medal race after a seventh place in the first race, to finish with a 14 point overall victory.
Local pair, Tetsuya Isozaki and Yurie Seki won the first race, with defending champions Xammar and Cardona in fifth, and Wrigley and Harris finishing down in seventh.
The British pair then led the second race from start to finish, with victory never in doubt, to claim the 470 Gold.
The main battle was for Silver and Bronze with Löffler and Hoerr finishing second, Xammar and Cardona only managing a ninth, which confirmed the German pair in Silver and the Spanish taking Bronze.
Britain’s Hannah Bristow and James Taylor (10, 6) finished sixth overall.
