Celtic’s potential deal for Egyptian winger Haissem Hassan is still ongoing, despite earlier reports today that the player is set to sign imminently… News from Greek sources had claimed that a deal for the Real Oviedo star was close to completion but now a new update from Sky Sports man Anthony Joseph has judged that as somewhat pre-mature. The World Cup performer is still in talks with the club at present, but there is no agreement sorted as of yet, in what will be a deflating update for the support. Celtic of course are in need of bolstering the squad and starting eleven more specifically, as last year showed up the glaring issues that exist within our playing staff. Haissem Hassan and Mika Baur have both been linked alongside Kasper Høgh but neither are as close to signing as the Celtic support would like. Meanwhile, Hassan is NOT close to completing a four-year deal to Paradise, as Anthony Joseph has now confirmed earlier reports may have been ahead of the mark today.
