Liverpool latest: Iraola uncovers new Barcola plan as movement made in next deal
Liverpool have just 15 days left before the summer transfer window slams shut and have only made three acquisitions so far
Liverpool still have plenty of transfer business to do with the window set to close in just over two weeks. And a domino could soon fall regarding a potential £30m exit.
So far, Andoni Iraola's Reds have parted with £94.6million. Jeremy Jacquet cost the club £60m from Rennes and Victor Munoz, who has sent his manager a telling message, set them back £34.6m. The third acquisition was Ronald Araujo, whose initial year-long loan move from Barcelona could become permanent for £47.1m.
But there are also a handful of exits that could be sanctioned and Curtis Jones is undoubtedly on the chopping block. The Englishman has been linked with a move to Inter Milan and Liverpool lowered their asking price from £34m to £30m over the weekend. A new development could see this move accelerate as the ECHO takes a look at the latest transfer news out of Anfield.
Curtis Jones transfer plan
Jones appears destined to depart Liverpool this summer. He has been a target for Inter Milan for quite some time now, with Iraola favouring other options in the centre of the park.
Liverpool's £34m valuation has thus far proved too steep for Inter, who have moved midfield star Davide Frattesi to Lazio to clear wages and squad space.
However, reports in Italy now suggest another midfielder will shortly be offloaded, finally allowing them to secure Jones. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Luis Henrique, previously of Marseille, is now being made available.
Once a sale is completed, Inter are expected to make their move for the Liverpool midfielder. Roma are said to be among the handful of clubs willing to take Henrique off Inter's hands.

Victor Munoz sends a message
The closing stages of this transfer window look set to be dominated by Liverpool's chase for Bradley Barcola. With Mohamed Salah now plying his trade for Trabzonspor, a new star winger has been identified and the Frenchman meets the requirements.
Nevertheless, as matters currently stand, PSG's £130m valuation is beyond Liverpool's budget. Furthermore, Barcola predominantly operates from the left flank, while a right-winger is what the Reds genuinely need.
Munoz might have something to say about that, however. He has demonstrated he can fulfil a significant role under Iraola. Liverpool took on Italian side Como twice on Sunday, with the first friendly held behind closed doors at AXA Training Centre. Munoz was the standout performer.
The World Cup winner, who arrived from Osasuna for £34.6m in June, began on the left wing and posed a threat from the opening whistle.
He gave Como right-back Ivan Smolcic a torrid time and was withdrawn in the 46th minute of what was merely a 70-minute encounter. He was given an 8/10 by the ECHO's Liverpool FC writer Theo Squires for his efforts.
Munoz was so outstanding that Iraola may need to reconsider whether a player like Barcola is required. The French star favours operating off the left and with Rio Ngumoha stating he is becoming accustomed to playing on both flanks, an alternative may already exist at the club in the shape of Munoz.
