He has been a target for Inter Milan for quite some time now, with Iraola favouring other options in the centre of the park. Liverpool's £34m valuation has thus far proved too steep for Inter, who have moved midfield star Davide Frattesi to Lazio to clear wages and squad space. However, reports in Italy now suggest another midfielder will shortly be offloaded, finally allowing them to secure Jones. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Luis Henrique, previously of Marseille, is now being made available. Once a sale is completed, Inter are expected to make their move for the Liverpool midfielder. Roma are said to be among the handful of clubs willing to take Henrique off Inter's hands.
