City injury latest as Gelhardt set for spell out and Hughes off for more tests

Hull City forward Joe Gelhardt will miss the start of the season after arriving from Leeds United with an ankle injury, which is another blow to the Tigers, who are already nursing a host of fitness concerns.
Gelhardt is set to be out for two weeks, and while it's not thought to be serious, the absence of the 24-year-old will frustrate boss Sergej Jakirovic, with his attacking options limited following the departure of Enis Destan last week.
The City boss will hope owner Acun Ilicali can back him with a new frontman before Saturday's Premier League opener against Manchester United, with Oli McBurnie the club's only senior frontman going into the weekend.

Elsewhere, Jakirovic is hopeful that Hidemasa Morita will continue to progress in his recovery from injury, and that he could feature in the Carabao Cup tie at Stoke City on Tuesday week.
Cody Drameh is ahead of schedule and is due back in training this week, but Charlie Hughes remains some way away from a return and is due to fly to Dublin to see another specialist on his groin problem.
Jack Butland has undergone surgery on his arm injury and is set to be sidelined until the end of the year, at the earliest, and Darko Gyabi remains out for the next three months.
"Joffo (Gelhardt) will be three weeks more, maybe two," Jakirovic told Hull Live. "The good thing is that it's his right ankle, so it's good for us. I hope that in two weeks he will be on the pitch.
"Morita is still having individual sessions. After Man Utd, he will be back in training with the group; this is the goal. We will see (if he features at Stoke), maybe he will get some minutes, we will see how he feels.
"The news on Cody (Drameh) is better, and maybe he will be back in training on Monday. With Charlie (Hughes), everything is still the same. He will go to see a specialist in Dublin. Jack (Butland) is good, everything (in the surgery) went fine, and the recovery is three months, this is the latest that I know. Darko (Gyabi) is out for 12 weeks, three months, and this makes me very unhappy."
