LAHORE - The Ali Embroidery Mills Independence Day Punjab Junior Tennis Championship 2026 will get underway today (Monday) at the Sports Board Punjab Tennis Academy, Nishtar Park Sports Complex, with more than 100 promising junior players from across Pakistan set to compete. Organised by the Punjab Lawn Tennis Association (PLTA), the four-day championship will run from August 17 to 20 and provide a competitive platform for the country’s emerging tennis talent. The tournament will feature competitions in boys’ and girls’ U-18, U-14, U-12, U-10, U-8 and U-6 categories, while the boys’ U-14 doubles event has also been included in the schedule. The finals and prize distribution ceremony are scheduled for August 20.
