Johnly Yfeko departs Exeter City to join Kilmarnock
He has left on an undisclosed deal
Exeter City defender Johnly Yfeko has departed the club and signed for Scottish Premiership side, Kilmarnock.
In a statement issued by the Grecians this afternoon, the club confirmed the 23-year-old had left the club on an undisclosed deal and wished him the "very best" with his future career.
The statement reads: "Exeter City can confirm that defender Johnly Yfeko has signed for Scottish Premiership side Kilmarnock on an undisclosed deal.
Johnly initially joined the Grecians on loan from Rangers in the summer of 2024 and would go on to sign permanently the following summer. The 23-year-old departs St James Park having made 31 appearances in red and white.
"All at Exeter City wish Johnly the very best with his future career."
The former Tottenham Hotspur youth initially joined City in 2024, on-loan from Rangers before signing permanently last year.
During his stint at City, he has been plagued by injuries and made just 13 appearances in his first season before the Grecians triggered their option to sign him permanently.
Overall, he made only 18 appearances in his second season with City, but has been fit and featuring regularly during pre-season, including starting the two previous friendlies against Truro City and Weston-super-Mare.
