Football season is about to kick off, and Patrick Mahomes has his kids' support as he gears up for it.
The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback is a dad to three, sharing kids Sterling Skye, five, son Patrick "Bronze" Lavon III, three, and daughter Golden Raye, one, with wife Brittany Mahomes, who he married in 2022.
And with the first Chiefs game set for September 14, against the Denver Broncos, the kids couldn't be more excited to cheer on their dad while he's in practice.
Over the weekend, Brittany, 30, took to Instagram and shared a slew of photos from their outing to the Chiefs' preseason game, first sharing a snap of Patrick in his uniform with their firstborn hoisted on his hip, all the kids wearing Chiefs-themed garb.
Brittany next shared pics of the blonde-haired trio looking excited as can be to be cheering on their dad, plus photos of them enjoying the game, against the Los Angeles Chargers, from a stadium suite.
"Their faces when they see their dad," Brittany wrote with a happy tears emoji, adding: "…and Bronze yawning is just the best," with a laughing emoji.
Fans were then quick to take to the comments section under the post and gush over it, with one writing: "I love this! Their excitement is priceless… they sure do love their dad!" as others followed suit with: "I can't get over Bronze's jaw dropped! So sweet!" and: "The cutest babes!!!" as well as: "Beautiful, happy family!"
Prior to football practice and preseason starting, Brittany and Patrick had been largely laying low since February, ever since the Chiefs failed to make it to the playoffs — for the first time in 12 years — itself after a less than stellar football season. Last year, the Chiefs were up for winning the Super Bowl for a third time in a row in what would have been a historic three-peat, but ultimately lost to the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 2025 Super Bowl loss came just a few weeks after the couple welcomed their third baby, Golden, who celebrated her first birthday on January 12.
Asked at the time what those couple of days had been like, Patrick said during a press conference: "It's been cool, I'm supporting, Brittany crushed it. It's been cool to welcome another baby girl [into] our family and see how my other kids react to her and having baby sissy and stuff like that."
He also noted that football was never too far away from his mind, as it's exactly what was playing on the hospital TV in the lead up to the baby girl's arrival.
"It's been a lot of fun and it was cool that football was on TV when I was in the hospital so I got to watch a little bit, and Brittany was kind enough to let us watch football as she was getting ready to give birth to our second daughter," he shared.
