Billy Bowie & Andrew Malcolm exclusive sit down Kilmarnock Football Club’s majority shareholder, Billy Bowie, and chief executive of The Malcolm Group, Andrew Malcolm, kindly gave up their time to sit down for an exclusive interview with Killie TV this week. Both spoke upon the completion of the brand-new hybrid, grass pitch at BBSP Stadium Rugby Park, with work commencing back in May at the end of last season. The return to natural grass at the ground represents one of the most significant investments in the stadium’s infrastructure in the past decade. The project was delivered by principal contractor, Malcolm Construction, working alongside the club and several specialist partners to ensure the pitch was ready for the start of the new William Hill Scottish Premiership campaign, as well as hosting Friday night’s Ayrshire derby, where Neil McCann’s side prevailed 3-2 against Ayr United. Billy and Andrew spoke candidly about the full process at Rugby Park, as well as providing an update on the construction of Bowie Park – the club’s new training facility on the outskirts of the town.
