The Jazz and Mammoth are chock-full of young talent, and both teams are aiming for the playoffs during the 2026-27 season. The cherry on top for fans is that there will be 19 dates when both teams are competing on the same day. After no overlap in October, every month through March features at least three days when both Jazz basketball and Mammoth hockey take to the hardwood and ice. On two occasions, the Jazz game will start two and a half hours after the Mammoth game, so that number could jump to 15. But there are four games that should have no overlap, and fans can give their full attention to both games while they run. There are two dates that stick out from the rest when looking for the best matchups on both sides. November 18 and March 23. On November 18, the Jazz will head south to take on Luka Doncic, former Jazzman Walker Kessler, and the Los Angeles Lakers. Back home, the Mammoth will host Central Division powerhouse and neighbor state rival, the Colorado Avalanche. Near the end of the season on March 23, the Jazz will host LeBron James and the Philadelphia 76ers while the Mammoth once again face off against Colorado. As of right now, the Jazz only have 80 of their 82 games on the schedule, with the extra two depending on NBA Cup results. If one of their extra games falls on December 10, the number of days with overlap would increase to 20 as the Mammoth host the St. Louis Blues on that Thursday.
