The Eastern Naval Command (ENC) and Visakhapatnam City Police cricket teams stormed into the final of the VDCA Institutional League 2025–26 after registering convincing victories in their respective semifinal matches at the Dr. YSR ACA-VDCA International Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam on Sunday. ENC produced a commanding 116-run victory over NAD in the first semi-final. Batting first, ENC posted a formidable 220 for five in 20 overs, riding on an impressive unbeaten 70 off 34 balls by Umesh Lamani and 58 off 36 from Captain Rahul Yadav. In reply, NAD could manage only 104 for nine in their allotted 20 overs, handing ENC a comfortable 116-run victory and a place in the final. In the other semifinal, Visakhapatnam City Police registered an emphatic 10-wicket victory over Naval Dockyard. Naval Dockyard, sent in to bat first, were bowled out for 118 in the stipulated 20 overs. The City Police chased the score without losing a wicket in just 12.3 overs. V. Trinath anchored the chase with an unbeaten 61 off 40 balls. The convincing victories have set up an important final between ENC and Visakhapatnam City Police, which will be played on August 17.
