Liverpool team vs Como confirmed as Alexander Isak and Jeremy Jacquet start Liverpool hosts Como for the second time today, this time at Anfield, after a goalless draw earlier on. Andoni Iraola has made decisions on both Alexander Isak and Ronald Araujo. Liverpool has named its second starting XI of the day to face the Italian side Como, with Alexander Isak among the starters alongside summer signing Jeremy Jacquet. Fellow center-back Ronald Araujo came in earlier in the week on a season-long loan deal from Barcelona. He is vastly experienced and took part in the Catalan side's pre-season before moving to Anfield, so already has a level of sharpness, but is named on the bench. Alisson Becker is in goal, with Jeremie Frimpong, Virgil van Dijk and Milos Kerkez making up the rest of the back four. Ryan Gravenberch and Dominik Szoboszlai are partners in midfield, with Florian Wirtz in front. Isak is flanked by Rio Ngumoha and Cody Gakpo in what could very well be the starting XI for the trip to Newcastle next weekend that comes on the Premier League's opening weekend. Harvey Davies, Victor Munoz, Ronald Araujo, Trey Nyoni, Lewis Koumas, Mor Talla Ndiaye and Will Wright are all options as subs. "This will be a very good, and very important, test for us as we finalize our preparations for the new Premier League season," Iraola writes in the official matchday program.
