Dayann Methalie is close to becoming Sunderland’s second signing of the summer transfer window.
Sunderland are rapidly closing in on their second signing of the summer transfer window after making progress in their long pursuit of Toulouse star Dayann Methalie in recent days.
As it stands, Belgium international Thomas Meunier has been the only new addition to the Black Cats squad that earned a spot in this season’s Europa League after securing a seventh placed finish in their first season back in the Premier League. The former Paris Saint-Germain and Borussia Dortmund full-back penned a two-year deal at the Stadium of Light following his departure from Ligue 1 club Lille earlier this summer.
