The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced 15-member squads for the Women’s Asia Cup and the 20th Asian Games. Fatima Sana will captain the team in both events. Twelve players are common to both squads, while three players have been selected separately for each tournament. The Women’s Asia Cup will be played in Dubai from 28th August to 13th September. Pakistan will face Thailand on 1st September, India on 5th September and Hong Kong-China on 7th September in Group A. Pakistan will begin its Asian Games campaign against Thailand in the quarter-final in Japan on 17th of September. Meanwhile, the team’s training camp has started at the National Cricket Academy in Lahore and will continue until 25th of this month.
