While one hopes that it will not come back to cost Eala, it’s hard to see the star entering the US Open main draw in a fit enough position to go on a deep run at Flushing Meadows. Eala’s schedule is not set to slow down following the US Open either, as she has already signed up for the Singapore Open in September, which takes place as part of the WTA Tour’s Asian swing. There will surely be a breaking point for Eala at some point, and we can all hope that it won’t come on the biggest stage at the US Open.
