Why Burnley's new Chelsea loan signing is not available to face West Ham Line ups confirmed for Burnley v West Ham Max Alleyne comes straight in for his Burnley debut today for the league opener against West Ham. But fellow new arrival Dastan Satpayev, who also signed on loan on Friday, is not involved. Joe Worrall is the man to drop down to the bench. Oliver Sonne is preferred to Connor Roberts at right-back, with the Welshman not even named on the bench, while Ugo Raghouber makes his first league outing in midfield. Jordan Beyer, Josh Cullen, Enock Agyei, Jaydon Banel and Ashley Barnes all miss out through injury. The likes of Hjalmar Ekdal, Lluc Castell, Lyle Foster and Michael Obafemi are all left out, meanwhile. As for the Hammers, new signing Arne Engels, who has just arrived from Celtic for £22m, hasn’t been registered in time to feature.
