PSG had a good week in the transfer market – they wrapped up the deal to sign Ferran Torres, and seem just a matter of hours away from securing Mika Godts too. But there has been a setback in the last 24 hours – the deal to sign goalkeeper Zion Suzuki from Parma has collapsed over the player’s representatives’ demands, and Aston Villa have swooped in to sign him up. The Athletic are calling it a done deal already. PSG move on from Suzuki at last minute after agent demands It’s frustrating for PSG fans to get so close to a new player then miss out – but at this stage there is a lot of faith in the club’s hierarchy to get things right.
