Everyone within the management of the Genoa-based club likes the striker, but it remains to be seen whether he will leave Milan and under what conditions. Sampdoria’s new head coach is Bernardo Corradi, who previously spent nine years managing Italy’s youth national teams and was on Massimiliano Allegri’s staff at Milan last season, before the coach was sacked. An alternative has already been identified: Matteo Brunori, who could return to Sampdoria after spending the second half of last season on loan there. Oddo’s foreshadowing? Speaking of former Milan coaches, Massimo Oddo made his thoughts clear regarding Camarda’s decision to join Lecce and why a move down a level might have been better for him. “Francesco should do what he should have done a year ago: he’ll definitely get to Serie A, but now he needs consistency, for example by joining a top-tier Serie B team that plays to win.
