Currently, Salman serves as T20I skipper, while Afridi leads in ODIs and Babar Azam is in charge of the Test side. With Pakistan having a different captain in each format, Latif believes Salman and Afridi are the right men to lead the national team. “Salman can be a good captain in ODIs and Tests, while Shaheen can be a good captain in T20Is,” he was quoted as saying by Khel Shel. Pakistan recently played a two-Test series against the West Indies in Trinidad and Tobago, which finished as a 1-1 draw. They are now preparing to take on England in a three-Test series, which will be held from August 19 to September 13.
