Alphadjo Cisse came into this pre-season as an exciting talent and he could leave it as an exciting first-team talent at AC Milan.
When signing Cisse, there was automatically a lot of hype. The Italian had been tearing it up for Catanzaro – actually outshining Mattia Liberali, who later went to Como – and there were questions about how he could fare in pre-season, after returning from injury.

After all, Milan have had players launch themselves into contention during recent pre-seasons and Cisse could’ve been the next in line.
It is fair to suggest that he has done so, too. The young winger has looked thoroughly impressive in the left No.10 spot and Ruben Amorim is genuinely considering him as an alternative to Rafael Leao, as he stated at full-time yesterday.
Cisse could stay…
Now, Antonio Vitiello has furthered this, stating that the Portuguese may even block an exit for him in the next few weeks, as he reports on X.
“Torino and Sassuolo are pushing for the loan of Cisse. He would like to stay at Milan and Amorim is also more convinced about keeping him. Evaluations are still ongoing.”
With Torino and Sassuolo both pushing heavily in recent weeks, they may be sent elsewhere in the end…
