Leicester City have confirmed that Harry Winks has joined Italian side Cagliari for an undisclosed fee. The midfielder has signed a two-year contract and departs City after three years.
The 30-year-old has been a mainstay throughout his time at the King Power Stadium, playing a starring role in Enzo Maresca's side that won the Championship trophy.
He was a regular in the Premier League under Steve Cooper and then Ruud van Nistelrooy before falling out with the Dutchman after refusing to occasionally stay at the club's Seagrave training ground amid his commute from London.

Marti Cifuentes then brought him back into the team before he spent another period out of the time, only for Gary Rowett to turn to him in their Championship relegation scrap. In April, Winks was involved in a confrontation with a number of supporters following the 1-0 defeat to Portsmouth.
A club statement read: "We can confirm that Harry Winks has today departed Leicester City, signing for Serie A side Cagliari in a permanent transfer, subject to international clearance.
"The 30-year-old midfielder made 109 appearances for us in all competitions following his move from Tottenham Hotspur in July 2023. He helped us win the Sky Bet Championship in 2023/24, making 45 league displays during our title-winning campaign.
"We wish Harry well in the next part of his career."
Winks played 109 times for the Foxes , scoring five and assisting five. His move to Cagliari comes as no surprise after being pictured arriving for medical on Monday and then joining fellow new signing Jacopo Fazzini at an airport.
The midfielder had been part of Russell Martin’s group of players in the first two weeks of pre-season but has been absent from the two friendly wins over Northampton Town and Bristol Rovers.
