Jake Dennis has conceded that he will "need some drama" to become a two-time Formula E world champion in Sunday's season finale in London. The Briton entered the season-ending London E-Prix double-header with a two-point advantage but now finds himself five points adrift after Saturday's race. Dennis recovered from fifth to finish second, but Porsche's Pascal Wehrlein claimed the win to snatch the title lead with one race remaining this season. Victory was never a possibility for the Andretti driver, with Wehrlein's teammate Nico Müller holding up the pack from the very start on Saturday. Jaguar's Mitch Evans was behind Müller, which made Dennis aware that progress would be tricky, although a full-course yellow did work in his favour. Discussing the opening race, Dennis told RacingNews365: "I mean, by Turn 3 on the first lap, I knew that they were playing games. So I knew if Mitch couldn't pass, really no one was going to pass. "It's so easy for Nico to defend round here. So, yeah, a difficult one when I'm just circulating in P5. But, yeah, there's only so much I can do in fifth. "It was only really when the Pit Boost started to play out that I could obviously show my pace." Viewed by others: Dennis needs London chaos The paddock expects pure chaos in the final race of the season, given that it is also the last event of the Gen3 era and takes place at London's ExCeL Centre. Chaos is what Dennis is hoping for, with the Andretti driver looking to use it to his advantage in the hope of becoming a two-time Formula E world champion. Asked if the expected Sunday chaos can work to his advantage, Dennis said: "I mean, absolutely. I need some drama. I need something to happen to try and obviously win this thing. "I think ultimately, if all the main rivals are at the front, then it will be relatively clean because we're all world-class drivers. "It's not just going to be people punting each other off, which we've seen in the past, like, say, in P10. I don't think we'll see any of that, but it will just be, yeah, some games going on for sure to try and obviously win the thing."
