From then on, however, the Battlin' Bears dominated, putting together an 8-2 run to force a tie and a Saint Francis timeout, as Ella Kincaid continued the momentum following the timeout with another kill to give Rocky an 18-17 lead. While the teams traded points until a 20-20 tie, the Battlin' Bears rattled off five straight points to secure the third set and the match. Sadie Meier led the Battlin' Bears with 10 kills and a .375 hitting percentage, while Ella Kincaid added eight kills (.471) and Olivia Fauth added seven (.238).
