(WPTA) - The Carroll girls volleyball team started their 2026 season off on a high note, sweeping Plainfield 3 sets to 0. The Chargers and Plainfield met in the 2025 state championship, where Carroll also swept the team and claimed back-to-back 4A state titles. Carroll also swept Westfield High School on Saturday, starting their season off 2-0. They will look to continue that win streak during their next match against East Noble at home on Wednesday, Aug. 19. The Chargers went undefeated during their 2025 season. Copyright 2026 WPTA.
