Jim Ross is fresh off brain surgery and has the photo to prove it. On Saturday, Ross shared a photo of his brain surgery scar on social media, just days after undergoing a successful procedure on Wednesday, August 12. Ross previously revealed on Tuesday that the surgery would involve drilling a hole into his skull and inserting a small tube to access his stomach, with the procedure intended to help manage and drain excess brain fluid. The longtime commentator has dealt with several health issues throughout the year, limiting his appearances on AEW programming. Ross most recently appeared at AEW Double or Nothing 2026, where he provided commentary for the Jon Moxley vs. Kyle O’Reilly match.
