I’ve been waiting for something like that for years,” Veerman openly told ESPN “We’ll have to wait and see what happens in the final weeks. I hope they’ll give me the opportunity, because I’ve had five very good years here. “I think I’ve won eight trophies, so I’ve definitely had a fantastic time here,” he added. According to ESPN, the 27-year-old midfielder has a release clause – reportedly worth €20 million – that expires on August 21. “They need to speed things up if they want me that badly,” he said with a laugh.
