Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has handed 18-year-old forward Andre Harriman-Annous another opportunity to train with the first team ahead of their Community Shield meeting with Manchester City, allnigeriasoccer.com reports. Harriman-Annous was involved in Arsenal’s final training session at Sobha Realty Training Centre on Saturday as the Gunners completed preparations for Sunday’s clash against City in Cardiff. The teenage forward has continued to attract attention after progressing through Arsenal’s academy and establishing himself as one of the club’s promising young attackers. Born in London, Harriman-Annous is eligible to represent Nigeria through his mother, while his father is from Ghana. He has, however, represented England at youth level. The forward has already gained senior experience with Arsenal. He made his competitive debut against Brighton & Hove Albion in the Carabao Cup in October 2025 and also featured against Slavia Prague in the Champions League. Harriman-Annous was also part of Arsenal’s pre-season preparations this summer, including the club’s training camp in Spain. He featured in the 4-1 victory over Girona before being an unused substitute in the 3-1 defeat to Real Betis. Wale Adejumo
