Spurs have not yet approached Eintracht Frankfurt, illustrating their interest in the player remains exploratory rather than concrete. Jean-Matteo Bahoya, a speed demon, enjoyed a promising 2025/26 campaign with Eintracht Frankfurt, delivering four goals and as many assists in 37 appearances across all competitions. Unsurprisingly, the youngster’s performances in the Bundesliga have caught the eye of several clubs across Europe and Saudi Arabia. Spurs must make a move for Bahoya Mathys Tel has not been able to deliver performances consistently, and Tottenham need more quality in wide areas. They need someone who can share the creative burden with Mohammed Kudus, and Bahoya could be quite handy for the North Londoners. The 21-year-old’s ability to consistently beat his man and take up dangerous positions in the final third is something Spurs need in attack. The France youth international is also a good crosser of the ball and finisher in front of goal. Off the ball, the Frankfurt man works extremely hard and is not shy of jumping into challenges and tackles. Such a creative, direct, hardworking and tireless winger would be a manager’s dream. No wonder De Zerbi and Tottenham appreciate Bahoya’s profile. As he has a contract until 2029, it’s not going to be an easy deal for Spurs to complete.
