And, revealing a little of what Gray has told his players about targets for the year, the loanee said: “He obviously talks about when he got to lift the trophy (the Scottish Cup) and score on the winner himself personally. Just one of the best moments of his career. “And he wants that for all of us. He wants that elation, being able to parade around the city, feeling victorious. That's what you strive for as a footballer. “It doesn't get much better than that. So we don't really need any more motivation on that front. “I think we all know the task at hand and we're not going to go into it without giving 100 per cent effort and, hopefully, progressing into the next round. “I think this is probably, if we're being honest, the most attainable of all the trophies this season. So I think that's why there's a big emphasis on trying to win on Sunday. “If we win, then we're one game away from Hamden, I believe. For me personally, I'd love to play at Hamden, I'm sure the team would as well and progressing as far as we can in that competition. “We believe we can be competitive. I think that everyone in that changing room thinks that we've got a right chance.” Hectic schedule awaits Victory over KF Shkendija in Skopje on Thursday night ensures Hibs will stay on a hectic early-season schedule, with tomorrow’s cup tie followed by a dash to Belgium for the first leg of their UEFA Conference League playoff-off against Gent. Lowe wouldn’t have it any other way. “It's the best way, though,” he said. “That Sunday, Thursday, throwing yourself into it. “In England, they're just coming out of pre-season now, so it's been a different experience for me, but one I've enjoyed because no-one really enjoys pre-season, I'll be honest. It's much better playing for things and playing in these competitive fixtures. “You can see from the desire and the togetherness of the team [in Skopje], no-one wanted our journey to end and I'm really proud of the boys for pulling through.”
