Samuel Chukwueze delivered an impressive performance as AC Milan secured a comfortable 4-2 victory over Manchester United in a pre-season friendly on Saturday afternoon. The Nigeria international featured for the entire duration of the encounter and played a decisive role for the Italian club, scoring one goal and providing two assists. Chukwueze cancelled out England international Harry Maguire’s opener after calmly finishing from a lay-off by Portuguese striker Goncalo Ramos. The former Villarreal winger continued his impressive display after the break, providing an assist for Alphadjo Cisse to restore parity for AC Milan after Patrick Dorgu had restored Manchester United’s lead six minutes into the second half. Chukwueze then registered his second assist of the afternoon when he delivered a delightful cross into the box for Ramos to head home AC Milan’s third goal. Ruben Loftus-Cheek later completed the scoring as the Italian giants secured a convincing victory. Chukwueze will be delighted with his performance after repaying the faith shown in him by new manager Ruben Amorim following his successful loan spell at Fulham last season.
