Six-time German top-flight champions Hamburg are heavily linked with a move for Nigeria international Terem Moffi. Moffi has been deemed surplus to requirements at OGC Nice and has been instructed to train away from the first-team squad. Amid ongoing speculation over his future, the Super Eagles' 2026 Unity Cup-winning captain was left out of OGC Nice's squad for their latest pre-season friendly against Juventus. According to Hamburger Abendblatt (subscription required), Hamburg are plotting a move for Moffi, who has entered the final year of his contract at OGC Nice. The 27-year-old joined OGC Nice on a permanent deal three years ago, and has 24 goals and five assists in 72 matches across all competitions. He spent the second half of last season on loan at Portuguese giants Porto, helping the club win the Primeira Liga title.
