West Ham are targeting Auxerre midfielder Kevin Danois, it’s been reported by ExWHUEmployee. Our club insider has provided the latest as the club aim to strengthen the squad ahead of the new Championship season, with the highly rated 21 year old emerging as a potential key target. “The club want to bring in a new central midfielder,” stated Ex on The West Ham Way Patreon. “We have revealed most of the targets before and another to keep an eye on is Kevin Danois of Auxerre. “The 21 year old French Under 21 international has a number of admirers from the Premier League and it is thought that Auxerre have already turned down €15m for Hull City, as they look for closer to €25m. “Newcastle and Bournemouth are other clubs thought to be keen but West Ham could match the fee and try to get a deal done. “We know that Arne Engles of Celtic is also a top target for the midfield position and have covered many of the others. “As West Ham get closer to signing players we will let you know who they are. “Of course West Ham still maintain the signatures of Edson Alvarez and James Ward-Prowse for the midfield positions and it could be argued that both would be good Championship players should they stay. “Nuno is said to have a meeting with JWP to try and clear the slate but whether that guarantees him a future at the club remains to be seen.”
