Chelsea take first step to £250m windfall as 'agreement reached' for next transfer As Chelsea continue to carry out transfer business during the summer window, they appear to have moved closer to another big deal Chelsea are on the verge of selling Pedro Neto to Al-Hilal, according to reports. The Portuguese international is said to have agreed personal terms with the Saudi Arabian side. Neto was a key player last season, but his place in Xabi Alonso's plans have been made uncertain by recent transfer activity. Morgan Rogers and Geovany Quenda have both arrived this summer, while Estevao and Cole Palmer are also likely to be ahead of him in the pecking order. The Blues' transfer spending for this summer is nearing towards the £350m mark, but Chelsea could take their windfall for player sales this summer to £250m. Neto's potential move to the Middle East would be the first big step towards that figure. It's understood Chelsea would command around £51m to sell the former Wolves forward. Since his arrival for £54m in the summer of 2024, Neto has contributed 19 goals and 19 assists in 103 appearances for the west Londoners. Chelsea have already sold Marc Cucurella, Trevoh Chalobah, Tyrique George and Andrey Santos for a combined £198.2m - selling Neto on top of that would take it up to £248.2m. Benoit Badiashile is expected to move on loan to Napoli, with the Italians paying a £2.6m loan fee in a deal which includes the option to buy him for £23.1m. Tosin Adarabioyo is also attracting plenty of transfer interest as is fellow central defender Axel Disasi. In and amongst those rumours, Manchester City are interested in Malo Gusto, who has a hefty £75m transfer valuation. There may also be sales in the striking department with Liam Delap and Nicolas Jackson valued at a combined £115m, while Emmanuel Emegha's future is also anything but secure. Furthermore, Jackson, Delap and Tosin were all left out of Alonso's squad to face Real Sociedad at Stamford Bridge. The Blues have already spent a significant amount of money. Rogers' signing was £117m on its own, while the second biggest arrival, Maxence Lacroix from Crystal Palace was £52m. Marco Palestra and Quenda's arrivals from Atalanta and Sporting respectively also surpassed the £40m transfer mark - though Quenda's transfer went through last season. While Jordan Henderson was a free agent, Danny Welbeck, Denner, Pep Chavarria, Dastan Satpaev and Valentin Barco all arrives for transfer fees between £5m and £34m.
