Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi has announced a special Independence Day initiative for cricket supporters, with a surprise planned for fans later tonight. In a post on X, Naqvi highlighted the ongoing National Champions Cup, which features a number of well-known Pakistani cricketers, including Shadab Khan, Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman. The PCB chairman encouraged cricket enthusiasts to head to the stadium with their families and friends to watch the tournament matches. He announced that entry to Multan Cricket Stadium would be free for fans from 3 pm. Naqvi also revealed that another special announcement for cricket fans will be made at 10 pm as part of the Independence Day celebrations. The initiative is aimed at giving fans an opportunity to enjoy live domestic cricket while marking Pakistan’s Independence Day.
