The first game of the season is now upon us. The 2026/2027 EFL League One season gets underway, at 1230, when Luton Town go head-to-head with Reading, in front of a decent sized away following cheering on the Hatters. We are about to see just how all the pre-season preparations have gone, who out of the two teams will be the sharpest and who will take those crucial first three points on offer, with everyone wanting to get off to a winning start and put those first three points on the board.
