But with boss Michael Skubala now gone from the club, an exit for the Irish international is now a distinct possibility. BBC Lincolnshire reported before the game with the Tykes that Moylan would not be involved due to the speculation surrounding his future. If a deal for Moylan is completed, he would become Cardiff's first signing of the summer. Imps head coach Tom Shaw addressed the talk surrounding the 24-year-old post-match. "That's with the club, the Jack Moylan situation," Shaw told BBC Lincolnshire. "Something has been reported on social media, that's just with the football club. "We are aware there is something going on. That situation is with the football club." Cardiff head coach Brian Barry-Murphy was quizzed on the player after their impressive 4-1 win over Serie A giants Roma on Saturday. Although he remained tight-lipped, the Irishman expressed his praise for the countryman, who only signed a three-year contract extension back in March. "I know the player really well," Barry-Murphy said. "He had an amazing season at an amazing club and they were better than us last year. I congratulated them on what they achieved, but he's not our player." The Bluebirds look to have suffered a setback with their pursuit of Jens Hjertø-Dahl, with Premier League side Hull City muscling in on his signature. "Nothing yet," Barry-Murphy said when asked for an update on transfers.
