Leicester City have completed the signing of Ipswich Town winger Wes Burns for an undisclosed fee.
Burns becomes Russell Martin’s sixth signing of the summer, strengthening a position Leicester have been light in since Abdul Fatawu’s move to the Premier League side.
The Wales international has signed a three-year contract, with LeicestershireLive understanding that City have paid just £75,000 to secure his services.
He reunites with Conor Chaplin at the King Power Stadium after the pair helped Ipswich win back-to-back promotions from League One to the Premier League.

Burns started his career at Bristol City and enjoyed loan spells with Forest Green Rovers, Oxford United, Cheltenham Town, Fleetwood Town and Aberdeen.
He joined Fleetwood permanently in 2017 before joining Ipswich while they were in League One. During his time at Portman Road, he has made 164 appearances, scoring 30 goals and helping the club secure three promotions.
Last month, Burns signed a one-year contract extension with the newly-promoted side to avoid him leaving on a free.
He joins City ahead of this weekend’s Carabao Cup first round clash against Northampton Town. Will Alves and Riley Carr have been used in the right-wing position throughout pre-season.
Alves is set to return to the side after missing last weekend’s friendly defeats to Coventry City and Genoa. Teenager Carr has impressed Martin throughout pre-season but remains a candidate to leave on loan in search of regular senior football.
