HASSAN PUZZLER FOR O’NEILL

MARTIN O’NEILL has included Celtic’s four summer signings – Kasper Hogh, Camilo Duran, Haissem and Mika Baur – in his squad for tonight’s Premier Sports League Cup opener against Dundee United at Tannadice.
However, the Hoops manager would not commit to the possibility of all four playing against Jim Goodwin’s outfit.
Kasper Hogh, first-half hat-trick hero in the 5-1 win over Kilmarnock at Rugby Park last weekend, and Duran are certainties and there is a good chance Baur, Thursday’s £7million arrival from Bundesliga club SC Paderborn, will make his debut at some stage.
HOOP HOOP HOORAY…Haissem Hassan hopes to get the green light to make his debut against Dundee United in the Premier Sports League against Dundee United at Tannadice.
However, Egyptian World Cup winger Hassan, however, may have to wait to take his Hoops bow following his £9million move from Oviedo earlier in the week.
O’Neill reasoned: “Mika’s definitely ahead of Haissem in the sense that he has played football.
“After the World Cup was over, Haissem took a bit of a holiday. He’s come back, didn’t really train with Oviedo, and trained on his own with a trainer, which is a totally different thing, really.
“So, this is the first time that he’s really joined in for a couple of days. We’ll see how he is taking his fitness levels into consideration, but he’s coming with us and we’ll see.
“I don’t know whether we would start with him, but I wouldn’t mind getting something in before we play LASK on Wednesday night.”
THREE AND EASY…hat-trick hero Kasper Hogh is about to be congratulated by Kieran Tierney as the Dane hammers Kilmarnock at Rugby Park last weekend.
Singling out Danish dangerman Hogh, the champions’ record signing at £11million-plus from Bodo/Glimt, the Irishman, speaking to CelticPlayer, added: “The centre-forward, even after the first game against Dundee with a number of misses that he had, at least he was there.
“Kasper was trying to score. He could have got one or two goals on his debut and followed it up with a hat-trick. So, I’m delighted with him.
“I also think that Camilo has been terrific. And I think in time, the other two we’ve signed, they’ll do really well.
“Obviously, I’m hoping that that’s going to be the case, but they’ve got good talent.”
