It's really pleasing and then him coming alive in the box.” Heggebo’s debut campaign at The Hawthorns was mixed but did end with him landing the top goalscorer award for 10 goals. A majority came in a winter purple patch of seven in seven games, where the Norway international showed signs of his predatory skills around the six-yard box. They have continued this summer, as Heggebo’s haul feature a battling scramble against Bromley in Portugal, close-range header against Shrewsbury and a sharp, near-post finish at Peterborough last weekend. “He likes to get across the front post, attack the goal and it was another good ball into the box (from Isaac Price),” Morrison said. “We had a few of those in the first half, that flashed across, but we didn't find that final pass. I asked them, if we can't score straight away, just try and get the opposition towards their goal and we can control it a bit better. “Then when we lose the ball, we're in position to win it back quickly.” Heggebo has also played an off-field role this summer in part of the attraction for former Brann team-mate Felix Horn Myhre’s switch to The Hawthorns. International midfield talent Myhre, 27, sealed a £2.5million transfer this week.
