Stoke City are expected to head into their opening league game of the season with the same squad as Mark Robins had for a Carabao Cup win over Oldham last weekend. Robins is likely to hand out four league debuts when Stoke will kick off their Championship campaign this Saturday (3pm) against Swansea at the bet365 Stadium. Ethan Galbraith will play against the club he joined Stoke from while Svante Ingelsson, who has signed from Sheffield Wednesday, and Djibril Soumare, who has arrived from Braga via a loan at Sheffield United, are also in contention to figure in midfield. Luke Graham, a centre-half signed from Dundee, is also likely to start. Junior Tchamadeu (hamstring) and Ato Ampah (tweaked fibres) are hoping to return to training next week but it will be longer for Aaron Cresswell (knee), who suffered an impact injury in a tackle during a pre-season training session. Stoke are still active in the transfer market and there is a chance they could add to their ranks in time for the weekend although that is now a race against the clock. Mark Robins said in his pre-match press conference this morning: "What I speak about is the mechanism of keeping people fit and on the pitch and keeping them available for selection. That's what the club has done. They have put that in place. "To be able to choose from nearly a fully fit squad is all you can ask for so that's what I'm looking forward to."
