Omari Kellyman and his representatives are in talks with Strasbourg over a permanent move to the Ligue 1 club, football.london understands. Chelsea are in dialogue with their sister club, also owned by BlueCo, over a deal for the 20-year-old playmaker, who featured under Xabi Alonso during the Blues' pre-season tour. Kellyman, who is yet to make a competitive first-team appearance since joining Chelsea for £19million in June 2024, has interest from several clubs in England and abroad over a loan move for the upcoming season. The former Aston Villa youngster prefers a European move rather than staying in England. Newly-promoted Cardiff City have been trying to sign Kellyman on loan after the Chelsea youngster shone in south Wales last season but it looks like a switch to France is on the cards. We should know more by the end of today (Friday) with Kellyman's representatives locked in talks with both Chelsea and Strasbourg to find a solution. Filip Jorgensen and Genesis Antwi are both at Stade de la Meinau for the upcoming season and FIFA rules say only three players can be loaned from one side to a specific club in the same transfer window. Mudryk, though, has plenty of interest from elsewhere, including in the Premier League, after he returned to football recently. Meanwhile, Chelsea defender Benoit Badiashile is on his way to Napoli on a season-long loan deal, football.london understands, after the Blues reached an agreement with the Naples-based side on Thursday. The Italian club will pay Chelsea £2.5m as a loan fee and have the option to buy the former AS Monaco centre back for £23m next summer. Badiashile is set to occupy Chelsea's third international loan spot this summer - with six allowed - after Jesse Derry's move to Sporting CP and Jorgensen's Strasbourg switch. The aforementioned Antwi does not take up a slot because they are under 21 and club-trained. The same can be said about Harrison Murray-Campbell, who recently moved to Belgian side KV Kortrijk for the upcoming season. According to reports, Kendry Paez could be moving to Turkish side Trabzonspor on loan for the 26/27 campaign after his deal at River Plate was cancelled earlier in the summer. If that is the case, Paez will take up an international loan slot, meaning Chelsea will only be allowed to send two more players out to a foreign side on a temporary deal.
