PSG reach £47m agreement with Bradley Barcola to Liverpool transfer impact clear
Bradley Barcola continues to be linked to Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain's transfer activity furthers the likelihood of a move
Paris Saint-Germain have finalised a third attacking signing in just over a week with Mika Godts to join from Ajax for €55million (£48m). The deal potentially has a huge bearing on Liverpool's interest in Bradley Barcola given the Belgian's preference to play at left-wing.
The majority of Barcola's appearances have come in that position which could hint at a departure for the 23-year-old. Luis Enrique's side have already signed Maghnes Akliouche from AS Monaco and also reached an agreement with Barcelona for Ferran Torres.
The Godts deal takes their frontline spending to roughly £150million with Torres and Akliouche both costing £42.7m and as such, a sale could be considered especially given the competition for places.
As things stand, the three new additions will be competing with Ousmane Dembele, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, Desire Doue and Barcola for just three spots which certainly suggests a departure from the Parc Des Princes.
Barcola appears to be the most likely candidate to be moved on given the interest from Anfield and after he was given no minutes in the UEFA Super Cup final win over Aston Villa earlier this month.
Akliouche started while Doue grabbed the winner. Barcola is open to joining Andoni Iraola's side but there are issues over the fee with PSG wanting well into the triple-figures.

Liverpool are currently unwilling to pay that sizeable fee with reports in France claiming that they have paused negotiations for the time being and plan to revisit the deal later in the window.
Barcola alternatives have emerged with his club teammate Ibrahim Mbaye as one of those while Said El Mala of Koln and Brighton's Yankuba Minteh have also been suggested.
The latter is now seemingly off the table following confirmation that he is set to miss a few months due to a foot injury.
Victor Munoz and Ronald Araujo remain as the only additions for the Merseyside club this summer with Jeremy Jacquet joining as well but that deal was finalised back in February.
Exits are also expected with Curtis Jones wanted by Italian champions Inter Milan while Roberto De Zerbi's Tottenham have identified Cody Gakpo as a top target.
