Gabriel Martinelli makes Galatasaray transfer decision after Arsenal handed £38m bid Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli has made a firm decision on his future after receiving concrete interest from Turkish champions Galatasaray Gabriel Martinelli has no interest in joining Galatasaray after Arsenal received a €45million (£38m) bid from Turkiye, according to The Athletic. Their report has claimed that his camp have told the club that a move to Galatasaray is not on his agenda. It has also been stated that the Gunners are open to offers for the Brazil international. Martinelli had been strongly linked to an exit from Emirates Stadium with Arsenal looking to strengthen in his position but potential funds being raised from his departure will seemingly have to come from a move to another major European league. Bayern Munich were linked last summer before they signed Luis Diaz from Liverpool. There is yet to be any concrete interest in his services from any teams in England, France, Spain, Germany or Italy. AS Roma have been tentatively linked as they seek to sign a new winger but Martinelli, who has one year remaining on his current contract though the club hold an option to extend that by a further 12 months, earns more than they are willing to pay. The 25-year-old is at somewhat of a crossroads in his career with regular minutes in north London appearing unlikely following the arrival of Christos Tzolis and Arsenal's desire to bring in a new attacker. Latest Gunners news, analysis and much more via our dedicated Facebook page Morgan Rogers and Vinicius Jr were their two top targets but the former opted for a move to Chelsea while the latter penned fresh terms at Real Madrid. A deal for Bradley Barcola has been explored but he is more likely to join Liverpool if he does depart Paris Saint-Germain this summer. Yan Diomande was suggested but he has since signed for Real Madrid. Arsenal are also open to offloading Gabriel Jesus with the Brazil international expected to depart as a free agent at the end of the season if he does not move on this summer or in January next year. Napoli are very much interested in signing the former Manchester City man but are waiting to sell both Romelu Lukaku and Noa Lang. The latter is a target for Ajax, who have just agreed to sell Mika Godts to PSG. Arsenal may well end up going back in for Julian Alvarez but he is likely to cost a sizeable amount which is perhaps why Martinelli was free to depart if a suitable offer arrived. With several weeks of the window remaining, that could still be presented to Arsenal but a sale would only be sanctioned if a replacement was lined up.
