Victor Osimhen to Arsenal transfer fee demand as Andrea Berta could strike triple deal
Arsenal are reportedly interested in Victor Osimhen but could be forced to pay in excess of £50million for the 27-year-old
Arsenal could be forced to pay at least €70million (£58m) to sign Galatasaray star Victor Osimhen. Mikel Arteta's side are reportedly mulling over a move for the Turkish giants' talisman, while Galatasaray are reportedly targeting Arsenal pair Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.
Osimhen could be an option for the north London club after they missed out on Vinicius Jr and Morgan Rogers. Premier League rivals Liverpool appear to be frontrunners to sign Arsenal target Bradley Barcola, while there is a gap between the two clubs for the Frenchman's valuation, leaving the top-flight champions to mull over their options in the transfer market.
Osimhen has long been linked with a move to the Premier League with Chelsea closest to his signature in 2024 before the then-Napoli star opted for a move to Galatasaray.
The report states that the Turkish side's interest in Martinelli and Nwaneri has led to Arsenal considering a move for Osimhen, who has three years remaining.
However, no formal offer has been tabled by the Gunners yet. But it has been suggested that it could cost Arsenal as much as the £58million that took him to Turkey in the first place.

Sebastien Denis of Foot Mercato has claimed that Arsenal are confident that they can sign Osimhen before the window closes. The forward netted a whopping 22 goals in 33 appearances for the Lions, contributing eight assists.
The 27-year-old has a history against English clubs, scoring against Liverpool and Chelsea in the Champions League, while boasting an impressive three wins and no defeats against the Reds across five meetings in Europe.
The Telegraph has claimed that Osimhen's availability has been discussed between the two clubs after Galatasaray made a £38.4m bid for Martinelli, while indicating interest in Nwaneri, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Marseille.
Osimhen has been a long-termtarget for Arsenal but was said to be below Julian Alvarez in the list of options. However, Atletico Madrid's £100million valuation of Alvarez as well as their firm stance on preventing his departure has been prohibitive for the Gunners, leaving the Nigerian as an alternative.
They caveat this with uncertainty over whether Gunners sporting director Andrea Berta raised the prospect or whether Osimhen's availability was highlighted. The move could see the Spaniard complete a trio of deals before the window shuts at the end of August should Osimhen arrive and Nwaneri and Martinelli leave.
football.london understands that Italian side AC Milan have enquired about a move for Nwaneri but a deal at this stage is unlikely.
