Celtic are following Hearts star Claudio Braga, with the Portuguese press now suggesting the forward is expected to leave Tynecastle this summer. That’s the latest take from Friday’s print edition of Record in Portugal, who provide an interesting update on Braga’s situation after he made his 50th appearance for Hearts on Thursday. The newspaper says several clubs are interested in the 26-year-old, with Scottish champions Celtic specifically named among them. More significantly for Hearts, Record state Braga “should leave the club”. They put Hearts’ asking price at between €8m (£6.9m) and €10m (£8.7m). Braga was one of the driving forces behind Hearts taking last season’s title race against Celtic to the final day. The Portuguese forward finished his debut campaign with 17 goals and was named the Scottish Premiership’s Player of the Year. Record’s information therefore presents the possibility of Celtic taking one of the standout players from the team who pushed them hardest last season.
