Super Eagles goalkeeper Arthur Okonkwo is being monitored by EFL Championship duo Charlton Athletic and Bolton Wanderers, approximately two weeks before the summer transfer window closes, according to Sports Illustrated.
Following Wrexham's capture of Sunderland goalkeeper Anthony Patterson for a club-record fee, Okonkwo finds himself behind the former Sunderland shot-stopper and Danny Ward in the pecking order at the Racecourse Ground.
Among the clubs interested in Okonkwo are Charlton Athletic and Bolton Wanderers.
With the Nigeria international in the final year of his contract, the Red Dragons face the possibility of losing him for nothing next summer if he is not sold before the summer or January transfer window closes.
Okonkwo initially joined Wrexham on loan during the 2023-24 campaign before signing a permanent deal the following season, after spending 15 years at Arsenal, having joined the London club at the age of eight.
He was a key member of the Wrexham sides that earned back-to-back promotions, taking the club from League Two to the Championship.
Overall, the Hale End Academy graduate has kept 47 clean sheets in 121 appearances for the Red Dragons while conceding 127 goals.
On the international stage, Okonkwo shone as Nigeria won the 2026 Unity Cup, keeping clean sheets in victories over Zimbabwe and Jamaica.
