Danny Batth has signed for Millwall to be reunited with his former boss Alex Neil. The former Stoke City centre-back helped Neil win promotion from League One during a brief time together at Sunderland. Now aged 35, he has been released by Derby County and has joined a club which finished third last season. Batth joined Stoke in January 2019 and left in 2022. He has since helped Sunderland and Norwich reach the Championship top six while also helping Blackburn and Derby put up fights to reach the play-offs. Millwall director of football Steve Gallen said: “We’re pleased to bring Danny in. He’s a hugely experienced centre-back who’s earned respect throughout the game over a long career, and that experience is exactly what we’re looking to add to this group. FOLLOW OUR FACEBOOK PAGE!
