Wolves closing in on winger signing Wolves have agreed a deal for their third summer signing. Wolves are closing in on making Rafiki Said their third signing of the summer. A deal with Belgian side Standard Liege has been agreed for €9m (around £7.7m) and the winger is set to fly in for his Wolves medical tomorrow (Friday). As a result, he will become Cesar Peixoto’s third summer signing and will join in time to fly out with the club on their pre-season training camp in Portugal. The 26-year-old only joined Standard Liege last summer from French side Troyes and he managed eight goals and five assists in 38 games. Before moving to Belgium, he spent all of his career in France after coming through the academy at Brest, before a loan at Stade Briochin and permanent moves to Nimes and then Troyes. He also has eight goals in 21 games in international football for Comoros. Said’s signing follows the additions of free agents Kieran Trippier and Raul Jimenez and adds some width to a squad crying out for wide players.
