Is Leeds United vs Augsburg on TV? Kick-off time, how to watch, stream details ahead of pre-season finale
All the key information you need to know ahead of Leeds United’s final pre-season game against Augsburg at Elland Road.
Leeds United’s pre-season preparations come to an end this afternoon when they host FC Augsburg at Elland Road. The Whites lost to Manchester United on penalties in Dublin last time out but enjoyed another good runout in front of over 82,000 fans at Croke Park.
Prior to that shootout defeat, Leeds had won three friendlies in a row against top-flight opposition, one being Augsburg’s Bundesliga rivals RB Leipzig who were beaten 2-0 at Elland Road last weekend. Daniel Farke’s side also got the better of Sunderland and Liverpool in America.
This afternoon’s game will give fans one final chance to see Leeds in pre-season action before the proper stuff gets underway on August 22. Below is all the key information you need to know if you’re wanting to follow the game.
When is Leeds United vs Augsburg?
Leeds’ final pre-season friendly takes place on Saturday August 15. Kick-off is at 3pm BST, exactly one week before the 2026/27 campaign gets underway at the same time against Forest.
It’s set to be another big occasion at Elland Road, with around 24,000 in attendance for last weekend’s win over RB Leipzig. Expect a similar turnout this afternoon, with the West Stand closed again.
Is Leeds United vs Augsburg on TV?
Unlike previous friendlies, this afternoon’s Elland Road meeting won’t be shown on TV. Premier Sports had been broadcasting Leeds’ pre-season campaign but have decided to show Arsenal vs Real Betis instead.
ITV had the rights to show Wednesday’s game against Manchester United at Croke Park but not this time. The only way to watch is via a streaming service.
How to stream Leeds United vs Augsburg
Fortunately, Leeds will be streaming the game live via LUTV. The easiest option for fans is to purchase a match pass via LUTV, which can be bought for £5 HERE.
Leeds have confirmed you cannot live stream this afternoon’s match with just a monthly or yearly LUTV subscription, with the pay-per-view pass needed for each individual friendly. You don’t need to be an LUTV subscriber already to buy the one-off pass.
Highlights from the game will be uploaded to Leeds United’s YouTube channel after the full-time whistle. In pre-season friendlies so far, goals have also been uploaded to the club’s official X account shortly after going in.
