The 18-year-old’s new deal runs until June 2029 and links up with the Foxes, who have also taken Tommy Watson on loan for the campaign. Howell will now link up with Russell Martin’s first-team squad at Leicester ahead of the new campaign. I try to be as exciting as I can for the fans. “I’ve spoken to the manager about what position I’m going to play, and what I can expect from him and what I need [to do] to get in his team. He’s made me feel welcome and I’m excited to get going with him. “He’s the type of manager that I like to play for in terms of style of play and hopefully we’ll suit each other.” The winger joined Albion's academy at seven-years-old, progressing through the academy before making his Premier League debut in our 2-1 win over Liverpool in May 2025. He has since gone on to make seven first team appearances, scoring his first goal for the club in an EFL Cup win against Barnsley last season.
